Halfway point in race for coveted Lone Star Cup

The Woodlands is back-to-back Lone Star Cup title holders.

The Lone Star Cup is one of the most prestigious high school awards in the country. The award recognizes the best overall athletic and academic programs in the state and is open to all UIL participant high schools.

As of late January, here are the standings after the completion of the cross country, football, team tennis, spirit, volleyball, marching band, robotics (best) and congress state championships.
