Top 50 Girls from the 2015-2016 School Year

  1. Reagan Padgett (HJ Soccer/Track) was an incredible two-sport athlete. She earned two state championships (200 meters, and 4X200 meters), and finished fourth in the 4X100 meters. She was also a second-team all-region soccer player, and the 20-4A MVP.

  2. Mallory Dotson (Deweyville Basketball/Track) won a state championship in shot put and discus, and was a first-team all-district basketball player.

  3. Raylie Huff (HJ Softball/Track) did well in two sports. She won a state championship in the 4X200 meter relay, and finished fourth in two more events (4X100 meter relay and triple jump). She was also a second-team all-district softball player.

  4. Julie Carter (Jasper Soccer) was one of the best soccer players in the state. She was first-team all-state, first-team all-tournament, and the 18-4A offensive MVP.

  5. Wreagan Taylor (HJ track) did well in three state events. She won the 4X200 meter relay, finished third in the 100 meter, and finished fourth in the 4X100 meter relay.

  6. Lauren Cox (LCM Golf) led the Bears to an 11th place finish at state. She finished fourth individually, shooting back-to-back 75's. She will play college golf at North Texas.

  7. Eranishia Carmenar (Silsbee Basketball/Track) had two top-five finishes at the state track meet. She finished fourth in the 100 meters, and fifth in the 200 meters. She was also a first-team basketball player at the state and region levels, and the 24-4A MVP.

  8. Jessica Nevils (Hamshire Fannett Soccer/Track) had two top-10 finishes at state (long jump and the 300 meter hurdles), and was first-team all-state. In soccer, she was second-team all-state, and the Utility MVP in 20-4A.

  9. Katie Holland (Hardin-Jefferson Soccer/Track) finished first in the 4X200 meter, and fourth in the 4X100 meter. She also earned two honors for soccer (first-team all-state, and the 20-4A Def MVP).

  10. Mya Van Meter (Hargrave XC) finished 15th at state (12:40:90), and her team finished fourth. She was a first-teamer at the state, region, and district levels.

  11. Caroline Kirschner (Kelly XC/Soccer) finished sixth (12:16) at state. She was first-team all-state in cross country, and second-team all-district in soccer.

  12. Camille Harris (Hamshire Fannett XC) was a part of her team's 15th place finish at state. She finished 23rd at state (12:52.49), and was a first-teamer at all three levels.

  13. Michaela Terry (Evadale Basketball/Volleyball) earned honors in two sports. She was a first-team basketball player at the state and region levels, plus the 24-2A MVP. She was also a first-team all-district volleyball player.

  14. Linsey Tomlinson (Hargrave Softball/Basketball) was first-team all-state and first-team all-district in softball. She was also first-team all-district in basketball

  15. Camry Clemons (Kountze Basketball/Volleyball) was a great two-sport star! She was first-team all-state in basketball, and first-team all-district in volleyball. She was also named the 23-3A MVP for her hardwood play.

  16. Megan Unroe (Hargrave Softball) was first-team all-state in softball, and an all-district honorable mention in volleyball. She was also the 23-4A Defensive MVP for softball.

  17. Ashlyn Dobson (Barbers Hill track) finished fifth in the 300 meter hurdles at state, so it's not a surprise that she was first-team all-state.

  18. Kaitlyn Thayer (Bridge City Track) finished fifth in shot put, and was first-team all-district in volleyball.

  19. Karlei Hemler (PNG Golf) shot a 159 for a 12th place finish at state.

  20. Brooklyn Goldsmith (Orangefield track) finished eighth in the pole vault at state.

  21. Holli Shannon (Deweyville Track) finished ninth in the high jump at state.

  22. Nidhi Patel (Liberty XC) was first-team all-state, first-team all-region and first-team all-district. She finished 80th (13:32.55) at state.

  23. Shannon Jones (Crosby Basketball) was first-team all-state, first-team all-region, and the 21-5A MVP.

  24. Charli Collier (Barbers Hill Basketball) was first-team all-state, first-team all-region, and the 21-5A Off MVP.

  25. Sydney Carr (Crosby Basketball) was first-team all-state, first-team all-region, and the 21-5A Def MVP.

  26. Meagan King (Barbers Hill Softball) was first-team all-state and the 21-5A MVP.

  27. Camryn Kotlarz (Goose Creek Memorial Volleyball) was first-team all-state and the 22-5A MVP.

  28. Jade Lewis (Barbers Hill Softball) was first-team all-state, first-team all district, and the 21-5A MVP.

  29. Kennidee Willis (Deweyville Volleyball) was first-team all-state, and the 23-3A Offensive MVP.

  30. Keleigh Trabing (Silsbee Volleyball) was first-team all-state, and the 24-4A Outside Hitter MVP.

  31. Kylee Dominey (Jasper Soccer) was first-team all-state and first team all-district.

  32. Paris Netherly (Crosby Basketball) was first-team at the state, region and district levels.

  33. Leah Silva (Barbers Hill Basketball/Track) was a basketball first-teamer at the state and district levels. She also competed in track.

  34. Kaitlyn Slack (Liberty Softball/Volleyball) was first-team all-state in softball, and the 23-4A MVP in two sports (softball and volleyball).

  35. Laura Jones (Barbers Hill Volleyball) was first-team all-state.

  36. Macy Kendrick (Jasper Soccer) was first-team all-tournament and first-team all-district.

  37. Kaitlin Campos (Jasper Soccer) was first-team all-tournament and first-team all-district.

  44. Katie Jones (Barbers Hill Volleyball) was an all-state honorable mention and the Hitter MVP in 21-5A.

  45. Claire Montondon (Kelly Soccer) was an all-state honorable mention and first-team all-district.

  46. Kendall Haywood (Goose Creek Memorial Volleyball) was an all-state honorable mention and first-team all district.

  47. Juliana Renfro (Kelly Softball) was an all-state honorable mention.

  48. Caitlin Denison (Bridge City XC) was a two-sport athlete for the Cardinals. She finished 51st (13:10.99) at the state cross country meet, and was a first-teamer at the region and district levels. She was also an all-district honorable mention in softball.

  49. Kaytlyn Kuta (Hargrave XC) was a member of the Falcons' fourth place finish at state, and finished 33rd individually (12:59.95). She was first-team all-region and first-team all district.

  50. Mariah Waters (Silsbee Soccer/Volleyball) was an all-region soccer player, and a district MVP in two sports. She was the 20-4A Utility MVP in soccer, and the 24-4A Setter MVP in volleyball.
