What's Inside: October VYPE Houston Magazine

It has finally gotten cold here in Houston!

So it is time to go get the newest VYPE Houston magazine and stay inside where it is warm and read up on the latest in high school sports.

In October's edition the VYPE staff featured two of the top cross country teams in the city. One of them are brand new onto the scene, while the other has a lot of history behind their name.

Special to this magazine is the _Top of their Games _feature. In this VYPE Houston featured five of the top athletes in the Houston area - Ridge Point's Skylar Fields, Pearland's JD Head, Manvel's Mckinzie Green, Morton Ranch's LJ Cryer and The Woodlands' Will Swope.

Read what makes these five athletes tick in some in-depth features.

Also in this magazine we have some other great features including a mother and daughter that faced each other in a volleyball match, the Irons family legacy dates back to the 1950s, a father-son bond is a special one in the game of football despite the father being deaf and many other great stories.

As always VYPE Houston Magazine is available all across the city. Starting this Friday, you can find the October edition in HEBs, Timewise Gas Stations, high schools and every Academy Sports and Outdoors.
