Ty Sexton is a 6-foot-5 sophomore quarterback that was born and raised in Montgomery, TX.
Sexton is the starting stud quarterback for Lake Creek High School and not only can he sling a football but, he can sling a baseball just as well.
When Montgomery High School branched into two different schools he had a tough decision to make.
He could have stayed at the same high school he started at and try to make something out of it or make a big change.
Sexton chose to try to make history at Lake Creek.
The class of 2021 star is also right-handed pitcher for Twelve Baseball and is a complete beast on the mound.
“Hard work beats talent,” Sexton said. “We may be young and may not win all our games but we are a hard-working bunch of kids who fight to the end.”
“Ty has great arm strength, has good command of our offense, he does a great job moving the football and producing points for just being a sophomore,” Lake Creek head football coach Pat Kennedy said. “We, as a staff, look for him to have a very bright football career at Lake Creek.”
Sexton has grown up around some exceptional athletes. His dad was a three sport athlete who played basketball, baseball and football while his mom was an excellent player on the basketball court.
Ty has four younger sisters all under the age of 15 who he cares for deeply.
It’s apparent to anyone who meets him that Sexton has a bright future. For only being a sophomore, Sexton’s work ethic and the way he carries himself to a high standard sets him up for success, both on and off the field.
